The Che Café is building 161 on the UCSD campus map, highlighted here. You can ride the Campus Loop Shuttle, which stops at the Che Café (it's the building covered in colorful murals).
Finding out how to get to the Ché can be a bit confusing, because we don't have an actual street address. Make sure you look at the map to avoid getting lost.
San Diego Transit routes 30, 34, 41, 150, 301, and 931 run right by the Ché. Additionally, routes 5, 21, 50, and 310 go to the nearby mall UTC, and from there you can catch any one of the UCSD routes ( 30, 34, 41, 150, 301, and 931 ) to the Ché. You can find the exact route you'll need to take from: sdcommute.com, and submitting "GILMAN DR & LA JOLLA VILLAGE DR" as your destination. Check out the driving directions and map (or the UCSD map) to find out how to walk to the Ché from the bus stop.
If you're a UCSD student, the free UCSD Hillcrest Medical Shuttle runs on weekdays 6am-10pm to and from UCSD from Hillcrest (Front St). View the schedule here. SD Transit bus 3A runs to the UCSD Hospital (at the north end of Front St). Or you could walk there from Hillcrest, its decently close. The shuttle will drop you off on the same street that the Ché is on. Just walk west, across Gilman Dr, until you see the mural-covered Ché on your left.
The parking lot at the Ché is for bands and volunteers only. There's a huge parking lot a little farther up the hill, with plenty of parking for everyone. If you wanna park in a non-metered spot in that lot, they normally don't check for permits after 7pm on campus, but we can't make any guarantees. You can also park off campus if you don't want to pay the UCSD administration for parking.
