Booking Tips For Bands:

Here's some simple things you can do to greatly increase your chances of getting booked.

• DO NOT email the main che email address about booking. There are nice clear directions here on our website to inform you about the Che and how to get booked. yes.
• DO follow directions! If the directions say to list your band name, genre, and desired dates on the outside of your package, DO IT!!!!
• DO be patient. We're all volunteers, and we can be a bit spacey, but we're doing this for fun and for the community, NOT FOR PROFIT.
• DO realize we can only do so many shows. We currently put on about 10 shows per month (which is an awful lot, really) but we get lots and lots of demos, so we can't do a show for everyone.
• DO use our booking form - DO NOT show up to a meeting to try and book your event. We have many other things to discuss in a meeting, and there are many collective members who are not even involved in booking. Either way, we would not be able to give you a response right away. Anyone generally interested in the Che Cafe and how we work, however, is always welcome to attend a meeting!
• DO read the booking directions first.
